Wolf Pups Get Twiggy with It

Happiness is having a best friend (and a twig). Beyond being adorable and rambunctious, these two Mexican gray wolf pups born on May 3, 2022, represent the Wolf Conservation Center s active participation in the effort to save this species from the brink of extinction. The WCC, a 501c3 nonprofit organization in South Salem, NY, is one of a network of facilities participating in the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Plan a binational initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of Mexican gray wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.
