Lyubo, Bratsi, Lyubo It s lovely, brothers, lovely was included in Pelagea s debut album released in 2003, titled simply Pelagea (Пелагея). There are many versions of this song, which some believe was written as early as the 1700 s and dedicated to the Don Cossacks. This version details a battle near the end of the RussianTurkish war where the Cossack army was ambushed by a river. Over the years, this popular song s lyrics have been changed many times and dedicated to many different battles.
