tattoo infection advice

this is not normal for me, but I don t know what to do, I had to tell my parents about my tattoo and they took me to the doctor who gave me some sort of antibiotic to help the infection but the look on his face when I first showed him it freaked me out. It was like he had never seen anything like this before, but he is a doctor he should know about this stuff, right
