QA: Oscar nominee Kristen Stewart talks Spencer
Kristen Stewart discusses psychological drama Spencer with Screen International Americas editor Jeremy Kay. Stewart has earned an Oscar nomination for her performance as Princess Diana, who is teetering on the cusp of marital breakdown during a Christmas get together at the Sandringham estate. The film is directed by Pablo Larrain and costars Sally Hawkins, Jack Farthing, Timothy Spall and Sean Harris. Spencer world premiered in competition at Venice, and Stewart has also received nominations from the London Critics Circle, Australias AACTA Awards, and the Critics Choice awards, and was awarded the best actress prize by the Hollywood Critics Association, where the film earned eight nods in all. Neon released the film in the US, where it has grossed more than 7m at the box office.
