Dhoomaavathi

Dhoomaavathi is smokecolored. Dhoom means smoke; Vathi means cover. The story goes that Paarvathi, the consort of Siva, was very hungry and asked for food from Siva to which Siva did not pay any attention. Repeated requests for nourishment went unheeded and therefore, Paarvathi swallowed Siva satisfying her hunger, exhaling smoke and at the same time widowing herself.
