This week we bring you a throwback project from when we remodeled the laundry room at our old house. Jeff is having major back issues and is completely out of commission so homestead projects are delayed. Enjoy this oldie but goodie project:) The laundry room offered nothing in the ways of storage or organization. The washer and dryer just set on the floor. There was an awkward shelf and solo hanging rack on the opposite wall. It was sad, dark, and such a mess. We resented it every time we had to do laundry. The dryer duct ran through the wall straight into the garage. We had to run the duct under the kitchen through the floor joists and out the back of the house. We tore the shelf and closet rod down, and patched the walls. We put in a small platform and tiled it. This would prevent debris, dirt, paper, toys etc from being swept under our appliances. We built loads of drawers and cabinets from MDF and pine. Painted the walls light blue, and the ceiling white. Previously walls, trim, ceiling, and doors w
