El Testament d Amelia Miguel Llobet

This video is a tribute to one of my youtube friends Paul ( Gangly1 on youtube) who passed away last month. It makes me sad to see someone who is still so young leave us. He was one of the original youtube classical guitarists who was an inspiration for me to start playing again after a long pause and later join youtube to share my videos. The music of this piece fits the occasion well it s one of the ultimate sad pieces for classical guitar. Played on a 1980 Cervantes model 500 guitar made in Japan by Japanese luthier Hiromi Yamaguchi working in the workshop of Masaru Matano. This guitar is a copy of the Ramirez 1A model from the same time. Recorded with a pair of APEX 460 microphones (In my opinion this pair of microphones produces a much better sound than my previous pair when recorded in the same conditions)
