House Cubed: Rapidly Deployable Housing
Developed by Pat Donahue at UMD Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI). A unique niche product using Minnesota wood resources and products, House3 (Housecubed) can be transported to emergency situations or used as semipermanent housing for a variety of needs. It assembles onsite with simple tools in about six hours into a threebedroom house, and can be packed away for future deployments. House3 is a closed wall hybrid building system in a plug and play format. Developed by Pat Donahue at UMD Natura
