To say that Mike Churchill is enthusiastic about making gloves in America doesn t even begin to do him justice. The man wouldn t conceive of doing anything else. The Churchill Glove Co. was founded in Centralia, WA in 1895 by Mike s great, great grand father. Quitting now would be utter shame to him and it is also because some among his employees have been working there for as long as thirtyfive years. Sending them home simply to make a higher profit on imports is not an option here. The company had some rough years for sure and survived for a while on exports to Europe and Asia. Americans were seemingly too obsessed with cheap price tags to care about quality or product origin. This is slowly changing though, thanks to businesses like Churchill Glove that produce authentic, longlasting quality that speaks for itself and elicits customer loyalty.
