Its so hard to believe that the end of the year has come so close. Brother was so adamant and insisted that we should visit our aunty in Nawalapitiya before the end of this year. Amidst the December cold weather, my aunts village in Nawalapitiya gives such a pleasant climate to be enjoyed. The thick fog wrapped in these mountain peaks is an irresistible site through out the day. The top peaks of the Kabaragala mountains always greets the clouds giving such a harmonious beauty to the eyes of the beholder. The climate in our village Dankotuwa is slightly warm and humid. In comparison, Nawalapitiya is a mountainous area that belongs to Sri Lankas wet and cold mountain zone. Because of this fact and the cold and the fresh climate, we always jumped at the chance of visiting my Aunt in Nawalapitiya.
