Joan Miller. American Television Telephone girl. M, S of two women sat at a switchboard, one is busy working while Joan is playing with her chewing gum, she pulls it out and sticks it on the board. C, U of Joan, she answers a call, then turns to the camera as if it was her friend and tells about a man she met last night, she is just going to tell us what he said to her when she is interrupted by a call from one of the guests, complaining about the milk, Joan says it s the best there is and comes from contented cows. Various shots as she tells us about the man she met inbetween answering calls including several young men for a Miss Don. Eventually the man she met last night rings up for Miss Don and she gives him a mouthful.
