How to Photograph a Dress on a Ghost Mannequin
How to style and photograph and fitted dress on a ghost mannequin. Learn how to dress the mannequin and style the dress using pinning, clipping, and tape to shape the garment. Remove the mannequins arms. Then slip the dress on and reattach the arms by slipping them through the neck opening. Even up the neckline and remove the mannequins neck component. Use tape to prevent the garment from slipping off the shoulders. Extend the mannequin bottom slightly using doublesided tape. Fill the arms with tissue paper to get a nice shape. Take an Insideout shot of the neck area for easy compositing in Photoshop. In this tutorial, we used the StyleShoots Vertical, caddy and mannequin.
