CAM TOOL Milling Sample CGSAC

This is a cutting sample of a diecasting collaboration with CGS ASIA MAZAK NT TOOL MOLDINO for THAI METALEX 2020. This part was roughed using a high rigidity modular arbor with specialized head for mold die materials. The cutter enabled the machine to cut hardened steel effortlessly. Rough cutting tool path, Zlevel rough cutting with multiple tools achieved stable, efficient cutting and reduced chip exchange by minimizing retraction from the material. Tool and holders were defined with Tooling DB that contains catalog data provided by tooling makers. This enables users to choose the best cutters for each jobs with ease. It allows even novice programmers to automatically create safe and efficient NC programs.
