AUSSIE SWIMMER SETS NEW WORLD RECORD Australia ultramarathon swimmer Chloë McCardel has today set a worldfirst record, swimming nonstop in a swimspa for 16 hours. Using high powered water jets as resistance, Chloë swam in the swimspa from midnight until 4pm this afternoon at the SPASA Pool Spa and Outdoor Living Expo at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, pausing only for food and toilet breaks. Covering a similar distance to one and a half crossings of the English Channel, Chloë said:
