This animation contains audio taken from a diary I recorded when I was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP). Just one in a million people are diagnosed with PMP, a form of appendix cancer, each year in the UK. It can affect people of both sexes and of all ages. PMP is the same cancer that took Audrey Hepburn s life in 1993. Back then, there was no treatment. Today, PMP specialists are able to offer suitable candidates a lifesaving surgical procedure.
