Elderly man trapped under runaway car, saved by passersby

An elderly man was trapped underneath a runaway car after the vehicles owner failed to apply the handbrake in Yichang city, Hubei Province on June 21. The car travelled backwards across a main road before striking the gentleman, who was relaxing in a chair on the roadside. The vehicle then stopped with the man beneath its chassis, but luckily several passersby were on hand to lift the car away from the old man. The victim was quickly rushed to hospital he suffered injuries to his head and shoulder. Subs
