TOP GUN Sound Design Test Part 1

Hey there It s been a hot minute since I last uploaded any audio works on my end, but this here is something fun I ve been working on for the past several days. I essentially took many of the aerial action clips from Top Gun and stripped them of all their original music, sound, and dialogue (as well as cockpit shots with the actor s faces) to dub them over with my own custom sound design. I sampled a ton of jet audio from the actual film itself and other sources and limited myself to just them to go for a 80 s 90 s sound mixing sort of vibe. Took some time to piece it all together, but it was quite fun to experiment with These were all the Miramar and Nevada stuff from the film. Perhaps I ll do the dogfights with the MIG28s next.
