Hey there, In this video I made a sign that includes handdrawn lettering and a frame made out of reclaimed fence pickets. I used a sheet of thick plywood for the panel and painted it white to dress it up. I used a white chalk paint that I diluted with a little water to thin out the paint. I used a sanding block with 220 grit sandpaper to sand it smooth after the paint was dry. I sprayed on a coat of MinWax Helmsman clear satin spar urethane and allowed it to dry overnight and sprayed on a second coat. I used two different fonts and font sizes for the words and then printed them out in gray ink. I traced the words onto the panel using a mechanical pencil and graphite transfer paper. After this was complete, I traced over the transferred words with an ultrafine point sharpie. I then applied two more coats of Minwax clear satin spar urethane. I made the frame out of reclaimed fence pickets. I ripped the pickets down to a width of 1 and then laminated two of them together for each of the four frame bo
