DANAE GREENFIELD ERIC PERSING, Omnisphere Sessions

Brooklynbased keyboardist Danae Greenfield sits down with Spectrasonics founder Eric Persing to embark on a completely improvised, Omnispherepowered ambient soundtrack jam. Danae and Eric had actually never played together before, did not rehearse, and there were no overdubs or prerecorded tracks of any kind just two Omnispheres played live Danae is using a Korg Minilogue to play and control Omnisphere via its special Hardware Synth Integration feature in fact, the audio outputs of the Minilogue arent even connected Eric is using a Novation Launchkey MIDI controller to play and control Omnisphere in Live Mode. He s also playing Keyscape s piano from within Omnisphere. Only one computer was used, with Danae and Eric each controlling their own unique instance of Omnisphere hosted on the same Macbook Pro.
