The reason for this was the sudden death of Robert Plant s son, a fiveyearold Karak. He died of a rare viral infection. The heartbroken musician locked himself in a rural estate and did not show himself in public for about a year. Robert decided to leave music and even enrolled in a teacher training college to become a teacher. Maybe he would have been successful in the field of teaching, but John Bonham, the drummer of Led Zeppelin, persuaded him to return to the band. To restore his skills, Plant had to go on a short solo tour of British clubs, during which he played famous blues compositions. At the end of 1978, the band in full force began work on the album In Through the Out Door. One of the songs on this record was All My Love ( All my love ), dedicated to Karak. It was written by Robert Plant and John Paul Jones.
