Gateway Classic cars is excited to present this amazing Full body and Mechanical Restoration 1979 Fiat Spider 2000. The whole car was dismantled for the restoration, the bare chassis was repaired where necessary, only a small amount of corrosion was present, and the body was completely stripped, primed, and repainted to show standards. The ugly factory rubber beam style bumpers were removed and the apertures in the body were filled to give a smooth body line. All Mechanical Items were refurbished, she has a brandnew Engine and Transmission, all ancilliaries were replaced, water pump, etc. and she was converted to an Automatic Carb to eliminate the troublesome Fuel Injection. Electronic ignition and a new distributor were added. The fuel system was completely replaced from the tank forward. All new cooling hoses and radiator were added and a thermo controlled electric cooling fan added.
