Today, were covering Parasite Eve, a peculiar experiment by Square mixing Resident Evil inspired survival horror with Squaretraditional RPG elements, a 3D combat system that would strongly inform later titles like Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story, (for the time) jawdropping CGI cutscenes and a bodyhorror narrative rooted in microbiology where the mitochondria become the greatest threat of humanity.
