Hbo Max s The Idol has come and gone thankfully, but certainly not without controversy. The show was highly anticipated as it would showcase LilyRose Depp as the star Jocelyn, The Weeknd as the cult leader Tedros, and would be directed by Euphoria s Sam Levinson. But when a Rolling Stone article dropped earlier this year alleging chaos and pornographiclevel sex scenes, it spelled the end for the show. But seeing as the hype had been there, I thought I would try to watch it through, and I honestly regret it.
