Oom Chakawan Thai Elephant Sculpture ( English, short version)

Short version of the story of making a sculpture of a Thai elephant Oom Chakawan as a gift for my friend David Lyman whose intervention and generosity saved the elephant from slaughter at 11th hour back in 2000. 12 years later Oom is still living peacefully at the Royal Elephant Kraal in Ayutthaya This sculpture is an expression of thanks to David from the management team at the Kraal.
