U. S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O Connor has died at the age of 93. She made history by becoming the first female U. S. Supreme Court Justice in 1981. Join us at 5 p. m. MST for a livestream of Arizona Horizon at We ll look back at her legacy with Ruth McGregor, a former Arizona Supreme Court chief justice who clerked for O Connor from 1981 to 1982 and Scott Bales, also a former chief of the Arizona Supreme Court who clerked for O Connor in 1984 and 1985. Both serve on the advisory board of the O Connor Justice Prize, an organization which recognizes exemplary leadership in rule of law initiatives and honors Sandra Day OConnors legacy.
