Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening Greetings in English Parts of the Day
In this lesson we learn basic greetings in English. We start with basic vocabulary about parts of the day: day, night, sunrise, sunset Then we look at the parts of the day: morning, afternoon, evening, night (We also look at midday, noon and midnight) Then we look at the greeting for the different times of day: good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. We also explain how good night is not used as a greeting but more when you leave or go to bed. We also look at how HI is an informal way of saying HELLO. Then there is a simple activity where there is a cartoon. The viewer needs to decide what the appropriate greeting is.
