FGDR Compensation Procedure
The Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts et de Résolution (FGDR) was created by the law of 25 June 1999 to compensate you in the event that your bank or investment firm is declared as having failed and your assets have become unavailable: the deposit guarantee scheme covers amounts deposited in current accounts or savings accounts; the investor compensation scheme covers securities and other financial instruments.
