Yes Roundabout with Geddy Lee on Rock Roll Hall of Fame 2017
Progressive rock band Yes are inductees at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 7, 2017, broadcast on HBO. The bands cofounding frontman Jon Anderson reunited for a performance of Roundabout from 1971 Fragile with Rush bassist Geddy Lee, guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, guitarist Trevor Rabin, and drummer Alan White. Anderson and late bassist Chris Squire established Yes in 1968. Squire, Anderson and Bill Bruford, Steve Howe, Alan White, Rick Wakeman, Tony Kaye, and Trevor Rabin make up the official Yes lineup going into the Rock Hall. Although Bill Bruford came onstage to accept his award, the original Yes drummer did not perform. Anderson last performed as a member of Yes in 2004 and officially left the group in 2008 after a fallout with his bandmates. Were definitely connected, said Anderson. Its a family. Theres always animosity. People that you love you dont always like, and theres always going to be that. B
