Sapsan, Lastochka, incredible blue Mashka and other trains on the Moscow Petersburg railway
February 6, 2022 we went to the railway Moscow St. Petersburg. We made our first stop 50 kilometers from Moscow near Radishchevo. Here we caught a doubledecker highspeed train Moscow St. Petersburg, which runs with a rare Czech electric locomotive ChS200, as well as several modern trains Sapsan, Lastochka and a simple commuter train ET2M. Then we went to the Reshetnikovo station, where the diesel locomotive 2M620823 was working on snow removal. This is a unique locomotive: it is an early production (1978), as evidenced by its round headlights, and it also has a blue color. In conditions when Russian Railways is repainting all its rolling stock in a red and gray livery, meeting a blue locomotive, and even so old, is a huge success for railway fans.
