Rightwing mobs attacked protestors opposing the discriminatory Citizenship Act in New Delhi, India. A police officer and a civilian were killed amidst this violence. The protests had escalated over the weekend as protestors had occupied roads and carried out marches in different parts of the capital in response to the nationwide shutdown call given by Bhim Army.
