Tensions are boiling over after India stripped Indiancontrolled Kashmir of its near autonomous status. Indias decision is reigniting disputes with Pakistan. Both control parts of Kashmir, but each country claims the region in its entirety. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made gaining control over the region a central campaign. But Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan says revoking Indiancontrolled Kashmirs autonomy is illegal under international law. Its feared the dispute could drive the two nuclear powers toward war once again.
