This is the 1965 movie The Monkey s Uncle which was a sequel to 1964 s The Misadventures of Merlin Jones. Same cast. Each film was actually two 45 minutes episodes (with separate plots) originally intended to air on Walt Disney s Wonderful World of Color tv program as a 4part series. They were released to theaters instead to take advantage of Annette s popularity in films. The Beach Boys opening was added for this purpose
