As Europe continues to struggle with the worst refugee crisis since World War II, the minority of migrants aiming to make it as far as the UK often end up in camps in northern France, such as the now infamous Jungle in the port town of Calais. At the start of the year the Jungle was temporarily home to as many as 6, 000 people. But the French authorities are determined to reduce it in size.
