This performance was part of the 2021 Harvest Festival. Using African creation myths as a basis, this choreographed story is called The Arrival, and centers around the significance of water to life on this planet, and to mankinds survivalwith a bit of humor thrown in to keep things fun. It was written by Michael Manswell, and performed with the Something Positive collective of Weeksville Heritage Center is a historic site and cultural center located where one of the largest free Black communities in preCivil War America was established.
