Roger Daltrey and The Who star in Ken Russell s phantasmagorical screenincarnation of The Who s groundbreaking masterwork, Also starring AnnMargret, Elton John, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Oliver Reed, and Jack Nicholson. The music for my tribute is The Who s own Baba O Riley which I always wished had been part of the rock opera. I hope I illistrate here why I think it would have been cool if it had been part of it.
