ЮЛИЯ РОНСКАЯ ( Veronica Bell) ПО УЛИЦЕ МОЕЙ ( ALONG MY STREET)
Along my street, for many years now, I hear footsteps: my friends are leaving. Their slow departure is pleasing to the darkness Behind the windows. Oh loneliness, how corse is your character With the shiny metal compass How coldly you draw the circle Unresponsive to my useless pleading. Please, let me stand on my tipitoes in your forest On the other side of the slow motioned gesture, To find the fallen leaves And put them close to my face And to accept loneliness as a blessing. Please grant me the silence of your libraries, The elegant tunes of your concerts, And, wise, I will forget those who Or still And then, our of tears, out of darkness, Out of poor ignorance of the past The beautiful images of my friends and melt away again.
