African Elephants (1965 1969)

L, S panning across grassland where some elephants are standing with optical effect so it looks like we are looking through binoculars. Several more (nonoptical) shots of elephants walking about, drinking water through their trunks. L, S of a small herd of elephants walking along with a couple of babies. Several shots of a dead or asleep elephant lying on the ground. L, S of a small herd of elephants; another adult elephant comes running up to them, falls to his knees and keels over. The other elephants seem in a state of panic, then they form a circle and move round slowly. Cut to several shots of the dead (or asleep ) elephant (not sure if it just died of natural causes or was shot, or could have been hit with a tranquilliser gun so we can film him ). Nice shots of elephants in grassland. Elephant lying on ground stirs and starts to wake up. Elephants walking past pelicans. El
