Helicopter Girl (1955)

London. M, S of a woman wearing the two piece swimming costume waiting on a platform for helicopter to come close enough to her so she can take some ropes from it. M, S of the helicopter rising as soon as she reaches her ropes. This is Madame Andree Jan, wife of a French businessman, who is the girl on the really flying trapeze L, S of the girl who is becoming smaller as the helicopter rises. More then hundred feet above the Thames, at Battersea s Festival Gardens, Mrs Jan goes though hairraising act that has already thrilled in fact the act is so risky that on the Continent noone will insure L, S of Mrs Jan hanging up side down on the trapeze tied to a helicopter. Camera pans up to show the helicopter. M, S of Mrs Jan twisting and turning on the trapeze hanging from the helicopter. Extreme L, S demonstrates how high the helicopter goes.
