Youre My World Cilla Black
One of the best recordings to come out of the British Invasion of 1964 was Cilla Black s You re My World. Originally written in Italian, English lyrics were created by the noted American lyricist, Carl Sigman. You re My World, recorded on the Parlophone label, reached number 1 in Britain and number 26 in the United States in 1964. Cilla Black (Priscilla White) was a cloakroom attendant at the Cavern Club in Liverpool when she was discovered by John Lennon. She went on to become one of the most successful female performers in the UK. I do not own the right to the song, audio, or images contained in this video. The sound recording is administered by EMI.
