Angelina Jolies G8 speech in London about preventing wartime rape

Angelina Jolie addressed G8 foreign ministers in London on Thursday, along with William Hague, and discussed tackling warzone sexual violence and violence against women and girls. It was announced at the summit that the UK government will spend a further 10 million on ending sexual violence in conflict. Mr Hague said the commitment was necessary to end the treatment of rape and sexual violence as a secondary issue and to put women and women s rights front and centre in conflict
