There are other applications of the ancient Muay Thai Palm strike that are more selfdefense appropriate. This includes thrusting the palm upwards on the bridge of the nose. As a warning, this can be a lethal move and should only be applied in worst case scenarios such as very extreme self defense situations. Another method is slapping your opponent with your palm on the side of the face by the ears. This could be followed by other combinations.
