Download this track iTunes Spotify As a huge Motoi Sakuraba fan, Gwyn s theme has been on my list of tracks to arrange for a long time. I had originally planned to make a piano cover of it, but like most of the orchestral arrangements I end up working on after sketching out a couple of ideas for woodwind and percussion parts, I was absolutely hooked on the idea of fully orchestrating the whole track. Some of the chord voicings in the original are absolutely stunning, and I wanted to recapture some of the same somber emotions of the original, while adding more urgency and movement with the much larger scale and huge sweeps.
