Few people realise the rapid and highly technical work that takes place behind the theatre M, S of backstage staff working frantically to raise the curtain at the London Coliseum. Closer shot of the men pulling on ropes. Under the engineer s control, the giant revolving stage the largest in the world moves round, propelled by its electric motors C, U of a man in the wings operating the stage machinery.
