Titles read: NOW Pathe Pictorial has pleasure in presenting ERIC WOODBURN the popular Character Baritone, from the Windmill Theatre, London, in Pathe Studio, London. On a set dressed to look like part of the deck of a ship we see baritone Eric Woodburn in grubby vest and trousers. He holds a shovel and sings Coaling a sombre song about being a stoker working in the boiler or coal room of a ship. Towards the end of the song he goes into a bit of patter about being in the boiler room when the ship got hit (this is during fighting against the Indians).
