Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge Inauguration Luxembourg (1966)

On 24 October 1966, Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg and his wife, Grand Duchess JoséphineCharlotte, inaugurated the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge. This monument was built in honor of the French Statesman Robert Schuman, one of the tireless contributors to the European idea. The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge connects the Avenue Kirchberg, Boulevard RobertSchuman, and Limpertsberg. It allows National 51 and the Luxembourg tramway to cross the Alzette Valley.
