Ashokan Farewell Fiddle Lesson

Ashokan Farewell is an iconic tune written by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. The song was featured prominently in Ken Burns Civil War TV miniseries. The melody is simple, and yet haunting, as a good waltz should be. Its a great tune to start on if youre a beginner player, and you can expect to hear this at pretty much any jam session around the US.
