Week 31 of a series I m calling 52 1 new jazz phrase for each week. We re doubling up on Elvin. Why Why not This is a cool lick I ve heard him use a bunch. It s in the same solo we checked out awhile ago: Crisis from Freddie Hubbard s Ready for Freddie album. It s a common triplet sticking but it s built within a larger quarter note triplet.
