Young Fathers Shame Guardian Sessions
In a live session recorded exclusively for the Guardian at Total Refreshment Studios in Hackney, east London, Mercury prizewinning Scottish trio Young Fathers perform Shame from their album White Men are Black Too. Fusing elements of postpunk, hiphop and pop, their album explores themes of race, sexuality and identity and sounds at once mainstream, lofi and political. As the group s Alloysious Massaquoi says: Young Fathers are breaking out of the ghetto.
