Felix is cold. In his house a statue puts on a blanket, an alarm clock puts gloves on its hands, and a man in a painting puts on a hat and scarf. Another cat is shivering in the bath the water has turned to an ice block. There s no wood for the stove. Felix tries to cut a tree trunk but it turns out to be an elephants trunk. The elephant tosses him away but luckily he lands in a coal mine. Back home, mice in his stove steal the coal. Felix goes to gather wood but mistakes the leg of a giant stork, a policeman s truncheon and deer antlers as fire wood. He steals a chair from under a man reading the paper, a rolling pin from a woman about to hit her husband, and the Pins from a bowling alley. He proudly carries his goodies home to his freezing family, but a hungry woodpecker sneaks into his snack.
