Paul Mc Cartney Donovan Leitch (part ii)
Paul and Donovan play their acoustics while an engineer adjusts the mix and sets up gear. This was supposedly recorded as the studio was being readied for a Mary Hopkin session (around the time of the Get Back, Let It Be sessions). It is written everywhere that they became friends in Rishikesh, India, where Donovan taught the boys how to fingerpick (which became very useful in writing for the white album). By this point Donovan had moved far away from the acoustic guitar though, while Paul also seemed to be moving out of his own acoustic phase. The songs and seek times are: (part i) 1. How Do You Do (McCartney) 2. Blackbird (McCartney) 3. The Unicorn (Donovan) 4. Lalena (Donovan) (part ii) 5. Heather (McCartney) 6. Mr. Wind (Donovan) 7. The Walrus The Carpenter 8. The Land of Gish (Donovan) Recorded Jan 1969
